This cartoon by Dave Brown from The Independent shows Obama with a can of paint, which makes the V sign for victory. He just sprayed it slogan "Long live an orderly transition" on the side of a tank destroyed in the shape of the siege Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. A crowd of protesters waving placards in the background.
The cartoon illustrates the ambivalent attitude of the United States to the revolt in Egypt.
